One panel foiled - and the right size !

Three panels ready for soldering

Done. Yes, that's a chainsaw helmet. Sorry.

This light was for my sister. Before this, I had made lights with only a single front panel glazed. Her idea was to make three sides of glass, and this is the result.

Since you can only ever see two sides at any give moment, the challenge was making a design which worked as a triptych, but also as two pairs of panels, and as singles.

The case is made of two exotic and beautiful types of wood. Both have delicious grain and colouring. The case took longer to make than the glass panels.

A single low wattage tube illuminates the panels.
