Finished tables

Table 1: 1700 x 900

 This is table 1. At last. I got the colour wrong and had to strip the whole thing down and start again. The finish is natural, and the surface is perfectly flat as I sanded it down to a mirror finish.

Table 2: finished

Table 2 is quite different as I kept the original finish from the floor and just used wire wool to take off 50 years of grime. There is some unevenness in the surface which I am trying hard to like.

But done. Phew.

Enough parquet bits for about 4 more. Can I  resist ?
