Good job, Hanan

It's unbelievably good news that Hanan al-Hroub has won such a prestigious award.

And even better news that she has done such amazing work with Palestinian kids who need all the support they can get.

Hanan al-Hroub has already been described as 'inspirational', and her quirky methods are clearly very effective indeed.

Thank goodness that Ofsted has no remit in Palestine: Hanan al-Hroub is exactly the kind of gifted visionary that Ofsted has worked so hard to homogenise out of existence here.

I wish and wish someone like Hanan could teach my grandson, who is just beginning 14 months of relentless SATs revision for his 'exams'. He is 9. His motivation is lower than a cellar floor. He has reached rock bottom and has started to blast.
